1990: The final adventure in Duckburg
DuckTales, a cornerstone of the popular Disney Afternoon syndicated programming block, wrapped up its fourth and final season with its 100th episode. The cartoon centered on the miserly yet intrepid Scrooge McDuck; his rambunctious great-nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie; and their mishap-prone personal pilot Launchpad McQuack. Together the crew embarked on all manner of globe-trotting adventures, usually with the goal of either protecting or expanding Uncle Scrooge’s legendary, silo-filling wealth. -A.D.
