This Was Television is always looking for new for new voices to discuss television and its history.

Obviously we want people who are passionate about TV, but more than that, we want people who are interested in its wide-ranging history. We’re especially interested in anyone who may wish to write about sports, game shows, news broadcasts, technology, and international television (all, of course, should be concerned with the historical in some way, shape, or form).

So whether your heart is set on doing episodic reviews of a particular show (either by yourself or with other writers) or a column that deals with television history from a particular perspective (politics, technology, gender, race, etc.), we want to hear from you. We are especially interested in pitches in that do not require a long-term commitment for you (i.e. a one-off column, or a brief series of short pieces or reviews).
