Subsequently, Hale persuaded his nephew, Ernest Burkhart, to marry an Osage woman in order to gain control of the headright. Her name was Mollie Kyle.
Strangely, people in Mollie’s family started dying in suspicious ways, including her mother, sister, and cousin.
Additionally, a big explosion even killed Mollie’s sister Rita and her family. If Rita died, Mollie and Ernest would inherit a lot of money from their family.
Later, the FBI launched an investigation and uncovered the involvement of Hale, Ernest Burkhart, and John Ramsey in these crimes.
Furthermore, Ernest disclosed that Hale, Henry Grammar, and Ace Kirby were also involved in the murders.
