Marjorie Taylor Greene, the U.S. Representative is currently sparking a rumor after questioning if Kevin McCarthy was gay on Fox News. Is Marjorie Taylor Greene gay? Let’s find the truth.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a far-right Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021.

Born on May 27, 1974, in Milledgeville, Georgia, Greene received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.

Growing up working in her family’s company, she has a lifetime of business experience.

Furthermore, she has been actively involved in her community and her children’s schools.

Moreover, she has been active on a national level as National Director of the Family America Project.

Now, she has been a controversial figure due to her propagation of conspiracy theories, incendiary rhetoric, and past bigoted statements.

Recently, Marjorie Taylor Greene has been involved in a gay rumor, sparking curiosity among netizens to know about the truth.

Is Marjorie Taylor Greene Gay? US Rep Sexuality

In September 2022, Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox Nation show and questioned if Kevin McCarthy was gay.

During a discussion about McCarthy’s living arrangement, Greene remarked, “Who gets the top bunk, and who gets the bottom bunk?”

This speculative comment led some to question Greene’s sexuality and wonder if she might be gay.

However, there is no evidence to indicate Marjorie Taylor Greene is gay.

She has been married to her husband Perry Greene since 1995, and they have three children together.

However,  Greene has never publicly identified as anything other than straight.

The comment on McCarthy was seen by most as a political jab rather than a legitimate insinuation about his sexual orientation.

Moreover, Greene has a history of making controversial and unfounded claims against political rivals.

Greene is known for her combative political style and promotion of extreme right-wing views and conspiracy theories like QAnon.

But she has not seriously faced any rumors or accusations of being gay herself before the McCarthy remark.

While an opponent of LGBTQ rights, Greene’s political identity has been shaped much more by her far-right ideology than her sexuality, which she has kept private.

Further, she served as CFO from 2007-2011 before stepping down to pursue CrossFit training.

Afterward, Greene became politically active during the 2016 election cycle.

She wrote articles promoting conspiracy theories for far-right websites starting in 2017.

Greene also joined the conservative group Family America Project as a top official and moderator in 2018.

As part of her early activism, Greene vocally criticized Democratic reps like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.

In 2019, she visited their Capitol Hill offices and livestreamed confrontational videos.

In addition, Greene propagated the false claim that Omar and Tlaib were sworn in on the Quran.

Greene successfully leveraged her far-right views, conspiracy platform, and confrontational tactics to get elected to Congress in 2020.

But she has continued generating controversies since taking office, including being stripped of committee assignments over past violent and bigoted rhetoric.

The recent gay rumor following her remark about Kevin McCarthy is just the latest example of Greene’s provocative political style.
